The gym is much different than the first. Rather than being large, once one enters, they will find themselves surrounded by vines and can feel the dirt underneath them. It's a bit darker, with sun-resembling lamps spread throughout. The gym leader is a bug/grass enthusiast. His name - Samson. He uses three Pokemon in battle.

Skylite Village
After the short trek through Route Two, you'll stumble upon a rather large town known as Skylite Village. The second gym challenge awaits, as well as a coordinator's first contest. The town hosts a combined Pokemart and Pokecenter, and in the center of town is a large statue dedicated to the lovely Shaymin.
