If one looks and listens hard enough, they'll find an off road, beaten path near the end of the route. Pushing through all the over grown trees, one would find themselves at Farfell Lake - one of two places to evolve certain Pokemon. A single elderly couple resides here, and are able to help with the evolution process.

Route 5
There's hardly a town between Route 4 and Route 5. Once you near the edge of route 4, you'll find the scenery changing once again, going from a barren desert to a somewhat lush oasis. Water trickles all around you, as another variety of Pokemon swarm the area.
