Name: Raede Eyre (E.) Blitzier
Age: Twenty-Two (22)
Birthplace: Oreburgh City
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Face Claim: Riven (League of Legends)
Appearance (Distinguishing Features): Raede has a very slim, but lean physique, muscle defined with movement or tightening of her torso. She stands short at 5'2", weighing 115 pounds. Her skin is alabaster in hue, contrasting against gold-crimson oculars, which almost appear iridescent. Her hair is a light bleach-blonde, almost appearing white in color; it is usually tied into an unkempt bun, with bangs framing her face. She adorns a pack alongside her right hip, black jeans, grey sneakers and a white shirt with a grey jacket on top, though her outfits will vary. She sometimes has a pair of yellow sunglasses along her face, even the same hue gloves.
Height: 5'2"
Character Type: Trainer
Personality: Raede is a complicated individual. Given her recent grief, she's typically colder and aloof, detached and withdrawn from the world. It might make it difficult for her to trust someone or befriend them, since she's now more apprehensive and cautious of the world around her -- hardships have prepared her for the gruesome reality that not everything is peachy. She's analytical and calculative, observing before taking action or saying something.
Her father taught her the importance of hard work and dedication. She's determined to be the best that she can be, and is willing to put in every ounce of effort to achieve that goal -- whether that means pushing her pokemon a little too hard remains to be seen. However, her family taught her love and compassion, so it's likely she won't overwhelm her companions, but treat them lovingly. She can be friendly and polite, as well as respectful; those are her adult mannerisms, but she can also be awkward depending on the situation.
She can get heated if something upsets or infuriates her, and she's quick to lash back at someone, if need be. But, for the most part, if she isn't distant, she's friendly.
Her paranoia and general awkwardness may tend to lead to humorous situations.
Most do not know of her family, and she'd like to keep it that way; she's private in that regard, rather preferring to bottle up her emotions than express or divulge too much.
But, when she loves someone or something, she holds true to the unconditional love like her father once gave her, and like her mother resumes to give.
History: Raede was born and raised in Oreburgh city, much to her dismay as she grew older. Her father was a well-reknown worker at the mines, while her mother stayed at home and watched Raede. Despite being an only child, the girl was never spoiled with goods and items, but loved unconditionally. She had a solid education, but craved the adventure outside of the iron city; desperately wanting to escape such a "polluted" town. They lived a humble life within a small but suitable home for her family, parents saving their funds instead of spending on luxury.
Although the steam was released and integrated fresh air within the mine, her father wasn't so lucky to retain his utmost health. At the age of 17, her father's condition began to steadily decline -- the construction and toxic air was taking a toll on his once strong physique. Knowing that he was decaying, Raede became somewhat furious, outraged of it all. Soon, he couldn't work, and she found herself caring for him, while her mother took up the title of breadwinner. Her father, who was stern but loving, could tell that his child was suffering from burnout, caving with the likely outcome that he wouldn't make it. He knew of her dreams to explore, to travel, to flee the very home that brought heartache. It was a rough time for the three Blitzier family members, but with heavy hearts, they pulled through. Her father was compensated for his illness, which meant the family didn't have to worry much about bills and losing the house. He was traveling back and forth to receive treatment, aided by his pokemon companions. While it gave them hope, it only prolonged and slowed the sickness; it didn't necessarily cure it.
They made the most out of it, bonding through turmoil, until her father passed shortly after she turned 22. While it left Raede and her mother feeling hollow, they both were grateful to find a letter from her father. He mentioned how proud he was of his family, how he was the happiest in his last few years since he spent more time with his family, and how he'd always be watching as their guardian angel. He even mentioned a dying wish: for his daughter to explore the regions, and to find companionship with a pokemon, among other lifelong goals, but he hoped her focus now would revolve around her own desire.
Guilt-ridden in leaving her mother to her own devices and mourning, Raede was, however, beckoned by her mother to follow her dreams. Diving head-first into the world, she wound up in Loreholt, a place that ultimately offered her a clean, fresh slate. What happens now, only time will tell...
