APPEARANCE:

Jason stands at roughly five feet and nine inches tall; most of his body mass appears to be muscles, with very little fat found on him. His skin is somewhat tanned, since he prefers to spend his time outdoors. A few scars line his body here and there; one being on his left leg that starts at the ankle and ends half way up his leg. His brunette hair is spiky and long, and often kept out of his face with a pair of goggles, although a few strands tend to stray from time to time.

When out venturing the routes, Jason tends to wear a short sleeved shirt which is often covered by a short sleeved jacket, of which seems to have a plethora of pockets and the likes for easy storage (think jackets worn by Pokemon Rangers in the video games). In the winter this jacket may be replaced by a rather heavy-looking poncho. He tends to wear a pair or shorts or jeans, depending on the weather whenever out in the wilderness, and tennis shoes while visiting cities.

PERSONALITY:

Jason is a rather active, athletic and adventurous person; you'll rarely find him cooped up indoors for a long amount of time. He prefers to keep his distance from large cities as much as possible, as that is not where his job lies. He prefers to help others, and is rather friendly and good natured towards strangers and Pokemon alike. While not naive, he generally appears trusting to those that are kind to him. Jason isn't the one to be rude towards others, nor will he turn a person down in a time of need. He appears calm and level headed in most situations, however may seem abrupt or abrasive if given a topic he is passionate about.

As stated before, Jason is a rather hard-working individual, and very passionate about his job. It isn't often he'll quit a job just because it seems tough, and will often see a job to the very end. Some might even say he is heroic, in a sense. It wouldn't be uncommon to find that Jason has gotten in over his head in a job, however, and can sometimes be weary of asking for help on them. Often, a task he has claimed will always be completed, and does not like the idea of people helping him if he believes he can do it on his own; however, he will ask for help if convinced it is needed, or he sees it as a last resort. However he is modest when others come to his aid, and often might give others more credit than they deserve.

While brash at times, Jason prefers not to use violence as a first resort. He prefers using peaceful methods first, if they happen to be available. 

HISTORY:

Born and raised in Saffron City, Kanto, Jason Tyler Acheson became accustomed to the city life fairly quickly, albeit he would come to despise it terribly early on in life. He was reared by his father, Austin James - a construction worker whose company often had him away on business around the region - and his mother - a worker who a part of the research department for Sliph Co. Jason was often left in the care of his grandmother as a young child, on the days his parents were away at work, which seemed to be often for them. Jason didn't appear to mind; during his waking hours, and when he did not have schooling, the boy would often wander the city, or watch gym battles at the local gym.

Jason grew to dislike the city and its hustle of life. Everything seemed to move all at once and never ceased, even in the darkening hours of the night. The smoke was practically unbearable. He preferred the untouched routes that surrounded the city, of which he got to visit on occasion with his grandmother's Delcatty, or with one of his parent's Pokemon when one of the two were home. He often preferred to wander the city whenever he wasn't able to visit his wilderness, watching the various pedestrians move to and fro. He would eventually make a few close friends in his early years, some of which he still speaks to now.

At age seven, the Anderson family was blessed with a second child; another boy by the name of Michael Leigh. Jason was a curious child, having not seen many babies in his small life time. His parents would often have to shoo him from his younger brother's room at night, the boy have gotten up to check on him passed his bedtime. It was more adorable than anything.

At age eleven, Jason was allowed to begin his journey as a Pokemon Trainer; he left bright and early the day he was supposed to travel to Pallet Town to receive his starter, earning a quick ride there from his mother's Fearow. His starter choice had already been pre-planned; Charmander having been the obvious choice for him. His journey to become League Champion was frequented with calls home - as well as the more than occasional detour to explore some area or help someone that needed it. His goal was cut short when a rookie mistake that was made in the Seafoam Islands; he had mistook thick ice in the islands for solid floor, and had used his then fully evolved Charizard use fire-type attacks on the wild Pokemon they encountered there, a strong flamethrower of which hit the 'floor' and effectively melted the ice below Jason's feet, sending him to into the freezing cold water and jagged rocks on the floor below. He barely managed to escape death via his Lapras, and hitched a ride to Cinnabar Island on his Charizard, where he would receive treatment for pneumonia.

He would spend a few months at home, resting and recovering. Instead of being apprehensive of picking up where he left off - or even from starting anew - Jason was rearing and ready to keep going as soon as he could walk on his own two legs by himself. Once he was deemed healthy enough, Jason left his team in the care of Professor Oak to head to the Johto Region; his newest partner being a small Totodile. INstead of being focused on gym badges however, Jason seemed more interested in the matters of helping others. It seemed that the months he had felt helpless in bed had taken more a toll on him than one had realized.

He traveled to various regions over the years, collecting many types of Pokemon and helping many people and Pokemon alike as he went. A Pokemon Ranger he had quickly became, serving others and putting others before himself. By the time his seventeenth birthday rolled around, he appeared to be more reliant on nature than the cities he had grown up with. Jason made sure to visit home often, of course, telling many stories to his brother the nights he spent at home.When the young man deemed every region already helped, he turned to the newly opened Sunford Region for adventure.

Leaving all of his Pokemon behind, Jason headed out for a new chapter in his life.
