Reina wasn't normally the one to enjoy the scenery when it came to traveling abroad. Everything melded together and became the same thing it was even in other regions - or so Reina liked to believe; this was untrue, considering each region was in its own way different from the next - and thus found it a waste of time to do such things. However, it became more and more apparent that when she did not have a job to do, something as mundane as inspecting the scenery around her passed the time quicker than sitting around looking like some statue. Loreholt didn't seem too different than any other beginning town; it was small, easily accessed by both land and sea, and very few people lived here. Not to mention, it was where new and upcoming trainers could receive their first Pokemon. Not that she cared much about that last part. She had Pokemon of her own, after all, of whom were completely capable of defending both her and themselves. Then why wait around in a town with nothing to do? The terrain was mostly unfamiliar to her, and while the prospect of traveling again sounded great, she knew nothing both of this region, and of its citizens. Not to mention, she knew nothing of the team she worked for - only that their goal was to overall exterminate or get rid of Pokemon. An odd idea, and not one Reina was too favorable of - she actually liked her Pokemon, and they, her - but she couldn't deny that she needed the money. Not to mention, the prospect of pick pocketing items and Pokemon from unsuspecting victims thrilled her to bits. "You know, maybe coming here wasn't such a bad idea," said Reina to her companion Pokemon as they walked along the seemingly vacant streets. "Better than Sinnoh, where it's cold almost all the time." "Nyah!" meowed Donella in agreement, trotting next to her trainer with ease. "Heh, maybe we'll find easy pickings here," the woman mused, arms going to rest behind her head in a lax manner. "Every other region seems so used to some team trying to take stuff from them these days, they're too alert for use to even try anything." That was almost true. In all honesty, the woman had gotten more bored than worried about the other regions that they had explored. True, each one already had some evil faction trying to steal something from the people of the region in which it - or they, in Hoenn's case - resided in, but there were still trainers flocking in to various regions daily to start their very own - and usually first - journey; many of them too young and naive to understand when they were being conned. But that just made Reina's 'part time' job all the more easier. Reina sighed. Speaking of stealing from the naive, everything seemed so boring without something to do. She debated stating her journey through the untamed wilderness of Sunford in the hopes of coming across some poor fool, or at least to find someone who would aid her in getting a mission; however, her boat that ha brought her here had been late as it was. Not to mention, after she had joined - or rather, had be drug to the hideout where she had been offered a place among their ranks - she didn't seem to hear much from any higher-ups. Not that she could complain. More time off from spying from people meant that she could do whatever she wanted until they needed her. Now all she had to do was figure out how she was going to spend her time. |
