The Bellsprout's request for a battle with this trainer was answered with a successful attack by the boy's Charmander. Though it struck, it was neither super effective nor a critical hit, but was still enough to drown some of the flower pokemon's energy. "Bellsprout!" cried the Pokemon, as it went for its own attack.

The Bellsprout lashed out with a Vine Whip, the only move the low level Pokemon knew. It wasn't very effective, and only did minor damange to the fire lizard in front of it. Its eyes were planted on the Charmander, watching its moves, hoping it would be able to dodge the next attack.

As expected the vine whip did little to no damage againest the fire lizard. It was probably the only attack that the low level grass type knew. Charmander was thinking the same thing as well as he stood in place looking very confident as ever. Rakutsu staired at the grass type and knew that no real Strategy was needed for this wild encounter battle.
"Charmander another Scratch."
Rakutsu ordered to his pokemon as it rushed at the grass type with his claws.

The grass-type was struck again by the Charmander's scratch. Another hit. It did about as much damage as the first attack, and only moved the Bellsprout back a little bit from its original position. "Bell...sprout..." Said the Pokemon as it readied another Vine Whip.

Again, the attack was not very effective as it struck the fire Pokemon. The Vine Whip struck the Charmander across its arm, hardly causing any pain at all. The Bellsprout knew it had gotten in over its head, but there was nothing it could do now. It was going to lose, only knowing one attack.
