It was about a hour after Rakutsu left the pokemon lab and the Village behind him with his new Charmander by his side.
' That when easier then expected. Still can't believe she didn't ask me any questions or even for my name. Maybe she already knew? Whatever it doesn't matter. What does matter is the second phase of the mission.'
Sources say that Team Prism recruit trainers off the streets. That shouldn't he so hard for him right? He just got to continue that hyper active persona and show good battle skills. Someone will have to get him then. Rakutsu already informed Charamander about who he was in the yard, but did it quietly.
Right now Rakutsu was looking for wild pokemon to battle or other trainers who want to battle.

The sun was shining brightly upon the beaten path of the first route. Starly and Pidgey were chirping about, pecking at the ground for their next meal, while the caterpie slumped about the base of shaded trees. It was a beautiful day... for a battle. At least thought this young caterpie. Sitting in a patch of tall grass, the beady black eyes of the little bug Pokemon surveyed its surroundings, waiting for the perfect one to pounce. It was a slow day for trainers, but still, he waited. Just as he was about to turn around, the silhouette of a figure approached from the nearby town. The little caterpie chattered to itself, just before jumping on the path in front of the unsuspecting trainer. Do you accept the battle, or run?

Rakutsu and Charmander were continuing there way on Route one without a care in the world. But his attention would soon be grabbed by a wild pokemon in the path. A caterpie to be more detailed about it. Normal Rakutsu would ignore a pokemon like that, but there was a look in its eyes. A look that is demanding a fight with another person and that person is his Charmander. Rakutsu looked right into its eyes and nodded to the bug type.
"Charmander if that bug wants a fight why not give it one? Start things off with a Scratch." cP4ahuW1d6[/roll]
Success! The caterpie had received the battle it was waiting for. Though it was against a Charmander. The caterpie chittered again, just as it was struck by the Charmander's scratch. Critical hit! As the scratch landed on Caterpie, it was slightly pushed backwards, squinting some in pain.
Caterpie HP: 15/30
The Caterpie strugged back to an upright position, before lashing out with a tackle.

As much as the little bug Pokemon struggled, its first attack was a miss! The Caterpie scooted backwards. Perhaps this was a bad move on the Caterpie's part. It's beady black eyes settled back, waiting for the next move of the Charmander and its trainer.

Charmander rushed at the small bug type pokemon with its razor sharp claw. The bug type pokemon didn't have much time to reach at the fire lizard's claw slashed down on to it with great force. Rakutsu saw the pain that the pokemon dealt to the bug and flinched a little. The bug type wasn't fast enough to land his tackle attack so Charmander was able to dodge. "Charmander use another Scratch." HtR|0olA
The Charmander was quite a strong Pokemon, at least against this little bug Pokemon. The Charmander had then landed another critical scratch on the Caterpie, weakening it even more. The pain could be seen in Caterpie's eyes, but he still wasn't given up, no matter how weak he got.
Caterpie HP: 2/30
The Caterpie struggled with all of its might to rush at the Charmander with another tackle.

Success! The Caterpie managed to land a hit, though it wasn't very strong. The Caterpie rushed headfirst at the Charmander, smashing in to its leg, and only causing a small amount of damage. The little bug heaved heavily after the attack, weezing, and trying to keep its balance.

Charmander rushed at the small bug type pokemon with its razor sharp claw once more. The bug type pokemon didn't have much time to reach at the fire lizard's claw slashed down on to it with great force. Rakutsu saw the pain that the pokemon dealt to the bug and flinched a little like last time. However unlike last time, the bug did get a hit in, but it didn't do a lot of damage. "One last scratch." 6NCWx4wZ
The Caterpie was proud that it had actually gotten a hit in, but that happiness soon faded. The Charmander lashed out for another attack, and had successfully struck. With a quick scratch at the Caterpie, the Charmander had caused the little bug to faint. It's body was now laying in the path, unable to battle.
The sun had barely moved any during the duration of the battle, though the bird Pokemon still flittered unphased in the air.
-Battle finished-
{Charmander has gained three experience points! One more battle until the next level.}

The Charmander was jumping in joy because it one his first out of many pokemon battles. Rakutsu didn't bother to tend to the bug pokemon that was laying on the path. A few hours to himself and he will be back up. Both him and the fire lizard looked around the area to find another pokemon to fight.
It felt as if the day would never end. The sun was still barely moving in the sky overhead. The clouds were moving slowly, partially covering the sun, before passing it over, providing almost no savior from the heat. A small breeze swept through the area, stirring up the grass, and ruffling the wings of the bird Pokemon.
A shadow loomed in the shade of the trees, waiting for an approaching trainer. Bulls eye. A trainer had appeared from the town beyond. The eyes of the shadow planted firmly on the trainer before it emerged from the shelter of the trees, revealing itself as a young figure, probably not much older than the trainer himself. His clothes were of dark hues, and the emblem in the center of his chestpiece was a P inside of a prism shaped icon. His eyes darted around the area, making sure there were no police around.
To the left of the boy stood a small dog-like Pokemon, also known as Poochyena. Its fur was a dark grey, and was unkempt as all can be. It's face was black, as well as its underbelly and paws. "Psst. Hey you. Come here." The boy called out. He had noticed the trainer's Charmander, and had hoped it was just a ploy, and he had wanted to join the cause of Team Prism. It was this boy's job, as well as a few others stationed around the routes, to recruit new trainers to join them, and eventually bring all Pokekind to an end.

Rakutsu gave out a heavy sigh as he wiped the sweat of his forehead. He was so hot, he took off his jacket and threw it over his shoulder leaving him in a white tanktop. The heat was nearly unbearable and the fact that the day was so slow didn't make it any better. There was only so many trees around the area, but they didn't give a lot of shade. It was even worst that it seem that the day would never end. He knew the battle when by fast, but this was just ridiculous. From now on everytime a cloud blocks out the sun the will be a gift. Mostly in the summer. But charmander was the lucky one here. His kind were immune to extreme heats like this and didn't feel like dropping on the floor out of exhaustion.
A few minutes of walking on the narrow dirt road later and the trainer would hear someone call for his attention. To his side was a boy that didn't look much older then he was in a black uniform with a P on it. Looks like the sources were right after all. But if he was being realist, the kid may try something on him. But he couldn't know for sure. His Charmander gave a small nod to him before they two walked towards the boy in black.
So far so good. The trainer was walking over. He had hoped he picked out the right trainer. He would get merits if he had successfully recruited a new person in to the team. God knows what his boss would do if he let another one get away. He was trying his hardest to get others to join, as he was on the verge of being cut. The boy wiped his face with a rag, before he stuck it back in his pocket. His Poochyena was eyeing the Charmander by the boy's side, making sure it didn't try any funny business.
As the boy got closer, the kid in the blue uniform started to speak, softly. "Ya interested in joinin our cause?" He asked, slipping a pamphlet in to the boy's hand, about who and what he represented. He half understood it. They want to get rid of the Pokemon, yet there were given Pokemon to travel with. He had actually started to grow attached to his Poochyena, but he quickly kicked that from his mind, as he awaited a response from the trainer.

Rakutsu snacked the appar from the nervous looking boy's hand as he looked over it intensely. The paper was basicly saying what the team's motives are and basicly offering fake promises for joining. Recuitment methods like this were extremely flawed and probably didn't get many recuits like this. Probably why this guy looked so nervous right now. Probably lost more trainers then he could count and would get fired if he didn't get one soon. Lucky for him, he is going to be the team's newest recuit.
"Looks good! I'm in."
Rakutsu said to the boy before forcefully shaking his hand. He took a look at the dark type and could tell it was ready for a fight. Not like he wouldn't give one, but he needed this chance right now.
The boy let out a sigh of relief. Success! He had snagged a new trainer to join their cause. "Excellent. Welcome to the team. We shall meet again at the next town you come across, and I will provide more information then." He said, his voice still a bit shaky with nervousness. He then slumped back in to the forest and disappeared from site, ready to head back to headquarters and inform the boss of the newest member. What he had forgotten, though, was to get the trainer's name.
Just as the boy disappeared, a small silhouette popped its head up from the unkempt grass to the side. It was a Bellsprout. The heat protruding from the sun overhead has made it an excellent spot for the Bellsprout to start showing up. This one more quick than the others. This Pokemon was a bit aggressive, and wanted a battle.

SUCCESS! Rakutsu was able to get into the team as a new recruit, but like in the lab his name wasn't asked for.
"Idiot."
Rakutsu said to himself after the boy disappered into the forest. He now needs to get to the next town over. That is where the first pokemon gym was located or trainers like him. He is most likely going to fight it when he gets there first before going to find the Prism member. But he needs to train more. When that though came to him a wild pokemon answered his call. A aggressive Bellsprout came in wanting to fight. It makes sense that this pokemon was here in this weather.
"I think you know the drill Charmander."
Charmander nodded to his new friend as he rushed to use a Scratch.
